Power Audio Video DVD Converter by AML Soft is an easy to use but powerful application that will help you convert video files, audio files, and extract audio from video.
It has a really simple and graphic user interface with all the basics: a small preview window to allow you reproduce your files before conversion, support for drag and drop and batch conversion.
It also includes profiles for the most common portable audio and video devices and support for the following Video Formats: AVI (DivX, XviD, and other), MPEG (MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 Video), DVD (VOB), VCD / SVCD (DAT/MPG), WMV (Windows Media Video), MOV(QuickTime Video), MP4/iPOD, MP4/PSP, 3GP, RM, RMVB, FLV.
Audio Formats supported include: WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, M4A, MPC, WV, AMR, AC3, AU.
This application is really great when talking about formats supported, presentation, and ease of use. Its price is reasonable (lower than most similar audio and video products). I missed the possibility to select a clip from the video.
If you want to test this software, a free trial is available for download (with lots of restrictions that make it really uncomfortable to use).
